Eggleston Steel Ltd is a family run business which was established in 1809 and has earned a reputation amongst its customers for excellent quality and service.
We stock, process and supply a wide range of mild steels and non-ferrous metals. Whilst most of our customers are based in the East Midlands, our central location in Derby allows us to provide our services throughout the UK.
Eggleston Steel continues to build on its success and is committed to ongoing investment in its staff, the latest technology, plant and equipment. The business has increased its staff levels to 58 during the year and is looking forward to further planned investment.

Customer service is at the heart of everything we do and our accolades are testament to that. We have achieved following accreditation:
- ISO 9001 Quality Assurance since 1996
- CE Marking for Factory Production Control (FPC) to execution level 4 (if requested) since July 2014
We have achieved our ISO14001 Environmental standard. Part of the move towards reducing our carbon footprint, we have changed to LED lighting throughout our entire site and installed 288 solar panels which have the ability to return unused electricity to the National Grid.
