Welcome to Made in the Midlands. The Midlands region is one of the most well known manufacturing centres in the UK and indeed is still home to the largest cluster of automotive manufacturers and automotive component suppliers in the UK.
Jaguar and Land Rover are proud to have two manufacturing bases in the Midlands – for Jaguar it’s the Castle Bromwich plant in Birmingham and for Land Rover in Solihull. We are also the largest investor in automotive research and development in the UK with product development and engineering facilities at Whitley in Coventry and Gaydon in Warwickshire.
Jaguar Land Rover together employ around 18,000 people in the UK – many of whom work in manufacturing our fantastic products.
